Hey, remember ages and ages and ages ago when I said I was gonna try to draw some Flora/Ja’Cel smut? And then I never did because I’m horrible? Well turns out I started it.
I think I’ll work on this tomorrow.
WELL THIS IS A DEFINITE BRIGHT POINT IN MY EVENING
Yaaaay!! A bright spot indeed!
Author Note: So what was supposed to be a quick scene showing a bit of Flora’s character ended up taking weeks longer than I expected to write. I even had to rewrite it from scratch twice because the tone was just all wrong. I am not happy with it even as it is, but art is never completed only abandoned and I’m not going to write it again. I hope you enjoy reading it more than I enjoyed writing it!
I sort of imagine this scene in a very television way. If it was a TV show, this is the episode in which Peter Jurasik would be brought back to play opposite his successor. May or may not be somewhat influenced by the BSG scene in “Water” where the old and new Apollo speak face-to-face for the first time.
A Note on the Setting: Once again this is set after events, which we have not yet been written up to.
In a nutshell, Vorlon!Sheridan has given our heroes an ultimatum on how to save the universe from the wars which are threatening to tear it apart – destroy all Jumpgate and space travel technology in one fell swoop, thus defusing the situation by preventing the various worlds from attacking one another. Our heroes were shocked and horrified at this drastic measure, but it was pointed out that the saving of lives is more important than technology, at least in the short term. Londo immediately rejected the idea, which (considering the source) pushed people like Garibaldi and Delenn into the opposite camp. This has caused tensions to run high, as Delenn is a favorite amongst most of those who have been reincarnated and they trust her to make the right decision, unlike Londo. This chapter takes place on the third day of the debate, after most of the protagonists have sided against Londo and in favor of Vorlon!Sheridan’s proposal. G’Kar has not yet taken a side, and the stress of bearing everyone’s mistrust when he already mistrusts himself is beginning to wear on Londo.
This chapter is dedicated to Ibenholt, for pointing out that Flora needs some love too. I’m sorry its not the best chapter, I will do better next time >.<
——
I have never had a fic dedicated to me before. I’m just sorry it took up so much of your time.
I am a tad emotional today, because I watched parts of ‘The fall of Centauri Prime’ aka ‘My hubbies are breaking up without really wanting to’. So I suppose that’s why this line: “Perhaps it was a testament to the number of years he had spent alone that G’Kar’s presence at his side would comfort him so. Or perhaps he truly had lo…missed the man.” makes me bite my lip extra hard.
Flora is fantastic. Sharp, to the point and badass. It’s impressive how she turns Londo’s situation around by proving to him that he improved hers and that they find a common ground. They have excellent chemistry.
I am very intrigued by this theory that Delenn and the others are being blinded by the fact that Sheridan is the one talking to them, and this deal with the technology. I can’t wait to see how that progresses.
Also, I need you to know that the image of Londo in Flora’s dress is a source of great joy to me. As is Flora is Londo’s clothes. And the comment about the gods and common decency made me almost fall off my chair.
I really rather like the thought that they are so similar that Flora didn’t see any reason to confront him until now. And I am having a great time imagining Londo’s face as she tells him this.
I love you for addressing the question of Londo’s use of FLora’s body. And I am extremely happy to read that she is into Narns: “How was I supposed to know I had a…ahem…a preference?” I made a sound which made my poor cat flee the room when I read that sentence.
I swear my heart began swelling when I read that G’Kar didn’t want to wake him because he looked peaceful. And he is awarded several points for: “Oh don’t look at me like that. I should think we’re quite beyond childish embarrassment over expressing affection for one another.” Thank you!
Hooray! Morning sex! That will probably keep the other’s waiting! Serves’em right. Hehehe, and the hair comment…
I bet I have forgotten commenting something very vital, so I hope you will forgive me for that. In any case, I don’t really see how you can improve this. It’s of course up to you, but please know that I love this very much.
Great job, Lady!
Part of the All Fall Down-verse, a reincarnation!au sequel to Babylon 5.
- All Fall Down part 1- Londo Mollari
- All Fall Down part 2 - Vir Cotto
- All Fall Down part 3 - Vir Cotto
- All Fall Down part 4 - Vir Cotto
Author Note: So the plot gets somewhat back on track with this chapter, though I admit not a lot happens, I’m just trying to move things forward. Anyway, we’re back in Londo’s POV with this one and I decided for my own sake to switch his voice back to male. It’s easier for me to write him in character this way. Let me know if it adds or detracts from the story, or if it doesn’t effect the experience at all. I apologize for the fact that this makes the voice a bit inconsistent from the first chapter, but my excuse is that Flora was much more present then than she is now.
Anyway, please enjoy, and know that I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for feedback, as usual.

If I may start on a selfish note, I was a little upset when I got back and saw that you had written a new fic, because that automatically meant that someone else had given you comments and reviews and everything in between. Which always seems to leave me with a gif or two to explain my adoration for your abilities as a writer, unless I want to repeat something that has already been said. And you deserve to have diverse reviews, because your writing is absolutely amazing.
Keeping all of this in mind, I would like to apologize if you have gotten any of these comments before.
Lady Deradi is fantastic and I love her, her snark and even her stab at Vir/Andro. The fact that Londo is having an internal battle about how he would have commended how she has raised Flora, but realizes that the girl would have gone mad eventually, shows how complicated the situation is for him. The comparison he draws between her and his wives was something I found myself reading over and over again, just because it was too good.
The news articles were perfect. I feel like I should print out the one about Ja’Cel/G’Kar and hang it over my bed. In fact, that is what I want to do with this entire fanfic.
Wonderful work. As always.

Rating: Mature. Read at your own risk.Setting: This is set several months after where the All Fall Down-universe has gotten up to so far. Presumably, G’Kar has been rescued and most of the B5 characters reunited aboard Delenn’s ship. They are currently taking a moment of R&R to celebrate that reunion, and this takes place soon after that.
Author Note: Once again I got sidetracked on a character piece, in this case a Londo/G’Kar (Flora/Ja’Cel bodies) mature scene.
This is the first mature scene I have ever written after 12 years as a writer. I’m typically more of a “fade to black” kind of person, so this really required me to push my boundaries. Of course, I didn’t start with something simple, like my own species, but rather alien, interspecies, genderbent former rivals. Enjoy!
I want to thank the lovely smut fiction of Selena, Amatara, and thingswithwings for inspiring this piece.

It was late and the festivities were beginning to die down as one by one old friends with new faces began to disappear, in pairs and small groups, their heads bowed in murmured conversation. The woman Londo now knew as Delenn (and once known, how could one miss it? It was written in every line of her proud posture, even if her Minbari headbone had been replaced by a waterfall of crimson locks) sat with her knees touching those of the former Commander Ivanova. Pressed against Ivanova’s side was the telepath that had once stopped him from killing G’Kar all those years ago. What was her name, Talia? They made a pretty sight, as much in their new forms as they had in the familiar ones, and Londo smiled appreciatively as she admired the graceful lines of their faces and limbs. Truly, of all the beautiful things in the universe, were not females the finest?
I don’t even know where to start with this. I apologize for the following rant, and hope you can somehow benefit from some of it.
I really enjoyed how they had managed to divide into cliques based on their past life. And the comment about Vir and Lennier and how they should not get too close because of Delen’s wrath was precious.
It warmed my heart that G’Kar just naturally sat down beside Mollari, because that is what he would have done in his former life. It gave me the impression that G’Kar has a more ‘what-the-fuck-ever’ attitude regarding the Centauri/Narn-controversy than Londo has. I also liked being reminded of Londo’s new, low tolerance for alchohol, because I keep thinking that she usually would have been lying passed out at a table somewhere during an occasion such as this. The conversation they have after the others have gone to bed is perfect and their exact voices. Their discussion about Mariel made me squeal. G’Kar is completely shameless and it suits him far better than it should.
You mention how they have ended up in similar situations before, which gave me some pleasant flashbacks to the show. Londo’s: ‘Show me’, was spot-on, and: “I think I like you better when you’re travel-sized, Mollari,” is by far my favorite line in this fic. I can see this happening right before my eyes.
Now, then. Let us get on with the concentrated sexy that was the bed scene. First of all, I admire your ability to keep me swinging between emotions. Londo’s musings about her past life and her feelings regarding the choking were heartwrenching.
‘Great Maker, what is wrong with me? she thought, as old terror mixed with new lust, and the longing with which he had once anticipated the ending of it all bled in with the dull horror of the memory of her own death.’ From heartwrenching to heart shattering. It is poetic and brutally honest, and gives us a look into Londo’s psyche. At the same time, I am happy that G’Kar addresses it and stops.
Then we move on, and I find the corners of my mouth threatening to tear my cheeks apart. G’Kar’s… shall we say abilities, makes Londo of all people forget to give pleasure back until the point where it is too late for her to actually do something. It is fascinating to see how they experience their new bodies. (And Londo is a screamer, my day is made.)
But here is where I must wiggle my finger at you. I have NEVER read a Londo/G’Kar fic that went on for too long, especially not with this quality of snark and sex. I absolutely refuse to believe that you have not written bed-scenes before.
This could easily have become vulgar, maybe even dirty, but you turned it into sweet, tender and intimate reunion between two people who have cared deeply for each other and still do.
Beautiful job, Avelera. You have given us, to use a Norwegian expression, only pearls on a string thus far, but I believe this one to be the most brilliant among them.
IDK JUST MESSING AROUND
So, at some point, Londo realizes that as Flora he has all his health and vitality back and goes about doing some of his crazy sword fighting fighter pilot stunts (albeit with more awareness of how his actions effect others), right?
Y E S
This song has become my official reincarnation!au Londo/G’Kar theme.
Lyrics:
Come up to meet you, tell you I’m sorry
You don’t know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions
Oh, let’s go back to the start
Running in circles, coming up tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start
I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
But tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are
Nobody said it was easy
Oh, it’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I’m going back to the start
